IMPORTANT NOTES:
- Jeans are NOT permitted to be worn on the yard for practicals, routines or riding.
- Jodhpurs MUST be of a dark colour (e.g. black, navy, brown, grey etc. NOT pink, purple, pale blue etc.) NO denim look jodhpurs/breeches.
- You are NOT permitted to ride in yard boots or half chaps – long boots or jodhpur boots with leather gaiters only.
- The plaiting equipment is required for Level 3 only and is compulsory at this level.
- College sweatshirts and polo shirts are compulsory for all activities on the yard. The number you purchase is up to you.
- Jewellery, other than a plain strapped watch, is not permitted on the yard for health and safety reasons. This includes any piercings.
- Long hair must be tied back at all times whilst at the stables. Hairnets are compulsory when riding if hair falls below the jaw line.
- Uniform must be worn at all times when riding and on the yard.
- *TOE PROTECTOR BOOTS* These are strongly recommended for practicals/yard work as horses are unpredictable and crush injuries could occur.
- PLEASE NOTE – As of Jan 1st 2016 any riding hat solely of EN1384 standard will not be permitted for use in the college. This is due to EU regulations and changes to their safety standards. Any hat with this mark but also with the PAS015 standard will still be permitted.
